So for one of my birthday gifts, Mae got me tickets to watch Asobi Seksu at Music Hall of Williamsburg. I haven't been in that neighborhood since I moved out of Brooklyn over a year ago. Funny how things change/stay the same.

Before the show Alexis and I went to Zenkichi, which was a decent if not overpriced izakaya place down the block.

Asobi Seksu is so good live. Can't recommend it enough.

This last Friday, I checked out Phoenix at Terminal 5. As usual, an amazing show. Played all my new and old favorites. The encore of If Ever feel Better was epic.

Wow, its been a rilly long time since I've posted anything. Oh well, life, other parts of the internet, and such have been keeping me busy. So heres a bunch of stuff from way way back, like March and what not:

Chicago for Christian + Christina's Wedding

Went to Kasadela from Anne's Birthday. Soooo good. Unfortunately no pictures because I was busy enjoying the awesome food. (and I was lazy.)

Then Blue Ribbon Bakery the following day with Eugi.

We walked by 10 Downing on the way to the restaurant. Gonna put that on the list.

Flipped the cog on my Langster today. Riding Fixed Gear is interesting. And difficult. And harrowing. And actually kinda fun.

Flushing

Saturday the weather got just nice enough for me to want to venture outside. Met up with Alexis and Ricky in Flushing to check out some chinese spots..

Spicy cold noodles, me with a lamb burger with a ton of cumin. This place wasn't even a hole in the wall, it was in the basement of some building. Super sketch, but super delicious.

Went w Alexis to check this place out. I'm not the biggest fan of David Chang's other establishments but what the hey. Overall it was satisfying if not more than a little overpriced.
